About me

A woman with shoulder-length light brown hair, blue eyes, and light skin, smiling slightly against a plain white wall.

Hello, I’m Lynsey — an experienced and qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I offer therapy online to people throughout the UK and work in and around Leeds and Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

I work as an Integrative Relational Therapist which places you — your experiences, relationships and unique perspective — at the centre of our work together. Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to you. We’ll focus on understanding what’s happening in your life right now and finding meaningful, practical ways to move forward.

Many of my clients come to me because they’re feeling stressed, anxious, burnt out, or stuck, often juggling work, family and personal challenges. I have specialist experience supporting people affected by trauma, domestic violence and abuse, as well as those navigating relationship difficulties, workplace stress, redundancy, or major life changes.

I’m particularly passionate about supporting women through key life stages — including fertility, parenting, identity changes and (peri)menopause — helping them reconnect with a sense of confidence, balance and self-understanding.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years working in a global FTSE250 organisation, leading wellbeing initiatives, workshops and networks that promoted inclusivity and mental health awareness. This background gives me a deep understanding of corporate stress, career pressures and burnout, which often feed into the issues clients bring to therapy. I’m also a trained Mental Health First Aider, reflecting my commitment to psychological wellbeing in all areas of life.
